Call me Maya. I was born in a small town, growing up somewhere between finishing school, the unadorned simplicity of a playful childhood and winning pageants. I discovered a love for travel at a very young age and insisted on doing it quite frequently, striking out on my own, allowing my curiosity in people and cultures to dominate my life path. Since then, I’ve made “abroad” my home, getting lost in adventures, finding excitement in uncertainty, befriending unlikely allies. Perhaps I am a bit of a junkie for adventure.

Structure bestowed upon me has given me many attributes I am now thankful for, including old-fashioned manners, refined pastimes and an impressive curriculum vitae. I have modeled, traveled, won pageants and degrees, learned three languages, became an International Playboy Model, plus I am often told that I have an intoxicating blend of brains and beauty. A delicate frame with petite features, ample curves, golden blonde hair, freshly manicured style, and eye for diamonds make me a classic feminine beauty, while the intensity of my brow eyes hints that I could be a formidable dinner date conversationalist if a lively debate gets going.

I’m drawn to the world of companionship for reasons I can’t quite pinpoint. It could be the seduction of fulfillment that comes from truly connecting with someone, the sense of bliss to touch and be touched. Or, it could be the memorable butterflies I feel before embarking on a date full of promise and possibility. You know the feeling – simultaneously exhilarating and terrifying, wishing the adrenaline would cease immediately but also never, ever, end. Either way, I don’t believe in rating my blessings. I am grateful to have met some wonderful people and continue to come back for more.
